Through the organization of a wholesome fishing community, Michigan Fishing is devoted to providing both fun and competitive angling opportunities supported by peers and sponsors.

The University of Michigan Fishing Team’s mission for the 2024-25 season is to compete at the national level while serving our community and enhancing angler education. The 2024 season may consist of the 2024 Bassmaster College Series, and the Michigan College Bass Tour. During these events, the Michigan Fishing Team will cultivate strong professional relationships through sponsorship and serve as a brand ambassador for quality products.
During the 2024-25 season, the Michigan Fishing Team would like to represent organizations who share the same vision and passion for fishing and community service that we do. Impacting the lives of young men and women, through education and community involvement is a major focus. Whether fishing from a bank or competing in a tournament, fishing offers a wide variety of opportunities for organizations to support the Michigan Fishing team and the young anglers. As a token of our dedication, the Michigan Fishing Team will be volunteering in several events throughout the year. The intent is to give back to the community and to continue to promote growth within the fishing community.
